What is Sweet Tumbleweed?
This entirely handmade boutique boasts a collection of items carefully crafted by the sisters in their home studio in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Sweet Tumbleweed sprang to life in 2023, born from the artistic passions of two sisters. With a keen eye for detail, they craft every item themselves. The sisters prioritize the use of premium materials in all their creations and take pride in sourcing over half of their supplies are sourced from other small businesses, supporting a community of artisans and entrepreneurs.
Where did the name come from?
During a family getaway in late 2022, we found ourselves reminiscing and chuckling over a craft show we participated in 25 years earlier, while pondering what to do with our abundance of fabric. Inspired by our conversation, one of our nieces proposed we dive back into the craft scene. The idea took hold, and we realized we needed a catchy name for our venture. After a fun naming contest, "Sweet Tumbleweed" emerged as the winner!
Where are you located?
We are located in Minnetonka, Minnesota (Near downtown Minneapolis).
Where are your products made?
All of our items are made by us in our homes in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover or ApplePay.
Do you sell Gift Cards?
Not at this time. Check back as we plan to add them soon!
Can you notify me when a product is back in stock?
Yes. If you are interested in a product that is out of stock, drop us a through the Contact Us form. We can let you know when it will be back in stock.
Shipping & Returns
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship domestically within the US only, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. For our friends in HI and AK, simply Contact Us with your order and shipping address and we will send a shipping estimate.
For expedited or International shipping, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you!
Where do you ship from?
All products are shipped by us from Minnetonka, Minnesota.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders!
What shipping methods do you use? how long does shipping take?
All orders are shipped via UPS or USPS. Please allow 2-4 business days for orders to be shipped.
Can I track my order?
When your order ships, you will receive an email with a USPS or UPS tracking link. Please allow 24 hours for the link to activate.
What is your return policy?
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Sweet Tumbleweed purchase. Items in new condition can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
Any items used or not in the original condition will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable. If we made a mistake or the item arrived defective, please contact us and we’ll make things right.
Because we are a small business, we are not able to cover the return shipping cost or provide prepaid shipping labels.
